Out of Hours Emergencies

Please call your local branch number. When the surgery is closed you will be given the contact number for our emergency  service - please call and give our staff member your name, address, contact number, the name of your pet and a brief description of the problem. They will give you instructions and contact the duty Veterinary Surgeon.

Our Great Ashby Veterinary Hospital is manned by Veterinary Nursing Staff 24 hours a day with an on call Veterinary Surgeon outside of our normal opening hours.  We are also the only Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Accredited Veterinary Hospital in the Stevenage area.

Please Note: Due to the high extra costs of running an out of hours emergency service, additional fees are chargeable for treatment and consultations outside of our normal working hours.

7 Dec 2012  Information about Puppy Vaccination changes due to the number of cases of Canine Parvovirus in the Stevenage area.

01 Dec 2012  We are pleased to announce that our Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Accreditations have just been renewed.  Every four years we have to go through a very rigorous inspection to ensure that we are maintaining the high standards required for RCVS Accreditation.  We have recently been through these inspections and have again been accredited at Small Animal Veterinary Hospital (the highest grade) for our Great Ashby Veterinary Hospital and Small Animal General Practice for our Roebuck Veterinary Centre.
