Puppy Parties

Roebuck Veterinary Group run monthly Puppy Parties to provide new owners with guidance and the puppies with the opportunity to play and socialise with other puppies of a similar age, so that they learn how to behave when around other dogs.  Many of our clients have said how useful the parties are, even though they are experienced dog owners.

Our Puppy Parties are run by Pauline Sloan a member of our staff and an experienced dog handler and trainer and are held on a monthly basis.  We invite our clients puppies who have had a full health check with one of our Vets and received a clean bill of health.

All puppies must have had at least their 1st vaccination and if that vaccination has been done other than at Roebuck Veterinary Group we need to see proof of vaccination.

Puppies should be between their 1st and 2nd vaccination or have only just had their 2nd vaccination at the time of the party.

Puppies should ideally be between 8-14 weeks old but no older than 16 weeks at the time of the party.

Content of a Puppy Party

• General Overview of vaccinations and flea & worm treatment
• Neutering including related health problems
• General handling – Grooming
• Basic training – “Sit, Down, Recall, Lead work”
• Play and Socialisation
